A quiet day at home
Today is Chinese New Year and everywhere is closed so we just stay relax at home. Only in the morning that we went to the near by grocery store. We ended up buying so many snacks because they just have so many things that we never try before.
Eating in Taiwan is really like an adventour experience. Every time I went there I always ended up eating several new food ! So far I ate cactus with treacle, Pinang flowers, square head crabs ! Plus some new snacks.
After a fun experience in grocery store, we went to eat red noodle soup in the restaurant near there. Most of restaurants are closed at this time so we were delighted to find one that is open.
For the rest of the day we just stayed at home, resting. It's going to be a long resting since my husband said that the stores and restaurants are closed for the next 4 days !!!!
It feels like every children in the neighbourhood are outside playing with fire crackers for several nights already. This is taken from my parent in law's 2nd floor apartment. The fire crackers smoke is so thick in our apartment because of them. But they are fun to watch. So bright, so noisy, and it's just fun to listen to children's laughter.
What am I going to do for the rest of this week ?????
